Aesop is Awesome

Winged Sandals


In all of the different websites I have ever used for Social Studies this is probably my favorite one. It is all about Greece and has movies about myths like Medusa and games like putting Hades' 3 headed dog Cerberus to sleep. It is just lots of fun, check it out.

Its Good to be Greek


Now that 6th grade is beginning their unit on Ancient Greece its time to get acquainted with this ancient culture. There are lots of things that the Greeks are known for so its tough to pick somewhere to start but I will start with a link to a great new show on the History Channel. Its called "Clash of the Gods" and you can watch every episode from the link below. The show is all about Greek Mythology.
