Sparta and Athens, Take Your Pick


The Greek city-states of Sparta and Athens were vastly different. Athens had a democracy while Sparta had an oligarchy. Even thought they both had a strong military, their strnegths were in different areas. Sparta fought well on land and Athens fought well at seas.
